“Angela” is a wondrously dark, inventive, multi-layered piece of faux-gothic electronica. It’s obsession, it’s all the voices in your head chattering at once. It’s got touches of later-period Bowie and early-period Echo And The Bunnymen, yes it is that good folks.

Sexy Bicycle is the solo project (unicycle?) of Georgian artist Nika Elia, currently resident in beautiful Barcelona. “Angela” is from his new LP “Saint” which is out now on DaDa Records and I am very much looking forward to hearing more!

Aquí se plasma la evolución de Sexy Bicycle hacia un avant-pop, como afirmábamos en el mencionado especial sobre la postneopsicodelia nacional, que no caía en un ejercicio vanguardista vacuo o artificial. En este álbum, Nika Elia se introduce en sorprendentes vericuetos sintéticos y retorcidos, pero que siempre llegan a un destino definido en una sinuosa travesía que abre “Gardenias”, prueba de la energía de Sexy Bicycle por la vía del Beck más colorista y surrealista; y cierra “Asphalt”, némesis de la canción anterior que muestra la cara más alocada de Nika en un desenlace absolutamente desatado.

Entre esos dos polos opuestos, dentro de “Saint” se aprecian ecos de bolero pasado por un filtro digital (“Leave The Place”) y de Animal Collective / Panda Bear (“Brilliant”), que se combinan con misticismo psicotrópico (“Angela”), pop futurista dislocado que muta en pop infeccioso (“No Age”) y lisergia flotante adornada con sugestivos arreglos de viento (“All The Day”).

“People go to galleries very rarely, they don’t have a big interest towards visual arts.Therefore we decided to switch Levanccio’s graphic and visual compositions to daily items such as t-shirt, bag, coaster and different souvenirs”-explained Eto Gzirishvili.

As we all know, “One unusual day, the rising sun has changed its face and whole world took the challenge – everyone to Japan!” Rugby World Cup continues.

And Georgia, as a participant, is challenging the world. To remind this remarkable event, beyond the illustrations, made for campaign, Marketer is presenting how the visuals were made.

As we all know, “One unusual day, the rising sun has changed its face and whole world took the challenge – everyone to Japan!” Rugby World Cup continues.

And Georgia, as a participant, is challenging the world. To remind this remarkable event, beyond the illustrations, made for campaign, Marketer is presenting how the visuals were made.
